Nocturne is actually kind of a bad representation for mainline SMT games. Partly because theres no normal Chaos/Law/Neutral paths and pretty much no purpose for the demon summoning program that built upon SMT because you're a demon yourself.
It's still good though

SMT4 had way too many flaws and I doubt Atlus will fix them all. The people who say SMT4 is their favorite have probably literally only played that game out of the entire series and can't see what's wrong with it, cause it has way more problems than anything in the rest of the series.

I played all Personas, DDS, SJ, I, II, Nocturne, DeSu, DeSu 2, Soul Hackers and started Giten. IV is still my third favorite of the bunch.
