I like the games but I feel like they missed a great opportunity to make it feel more like the anime/manga.
I remember when I think it was the very first game was coming out, there was a picture of Naruto running on a wall and Sasuke on the ground, like you would have free movement for all over the environment, instead all we got was you kicking someone into a wall then autojumping on after them and a perspective change.
So we got empty arena with cool looking backdrops, instead of the cool arenas where you could move freely around the different terrain that I wanted.
Something like Dissidia or even the DBZ games(but grounded obviously) would have been so great.
