Graces F has a cliche story, mediocre characters, unique combat mechanics. Fairly fun, worth playing.
I'd recommend Xillia, Xillia 2, Hearts R as well.
It's alright, it kind of jumps around at the end and didn't really have a clear direction though.
It's also the start of when Baba started throwing half the game's shit into DLC, so most of the good costumes and things are DLC unfortunately.
Still worth a playthrough though, especially at the price it's likely at now.

It's not as good as ToV, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
Gameplay-wise it's pretty fun, although the combat system does have its issues, like Free Run being completely worthless, overly-restrictive combo mechanics, and no air game. Still it's pretty stylish with some good ideas, and I would say overall it's one of the more entertaining Tales combat systems.
However, the story is awful. Ridiculously awful. Almost every character is a shit except Malik, maybe Pascal, and partially Richard (who is a shit in the game proper but becomes amazing in the future arc) and the actual plotlines of both the main game and future arc are horrendous and cringeworthy even by Tales standards.
So it's a mixed bag. I would say as far as Tales goes you could do worse - it's definitely better than Symphonia 2, Xillia, or Zestiria - but it's not as good as most of the pre-7th-gen games, Vesperia, or Xillia 2.
