Well it depends on what you like/don't like about them, really. LO's story is generally more serious and lacks any soap opera dialogue and romance aimed at teen girls, but the gameplay is mostly the same.

It'scozy, romantic, intriguing, fun, exciting and just overall great. It feels more like a serious Dragon Quest than a Final Fantasy in some regards, probably because it was the first of its kind. It's kinda like a theater play or whatever, and the proto-Final Fantasy that cemented alot of ideas, like having an entire ensemble as playable characters, lotsa politics, you name it.

Ahh k to me it felt clumsy, and after the what feels like the fourth time Kain betrays you I felt it was kind of dumb alsothe ending when everyone is still alive annoyed the shit out of me and felt like a cop out. Still a good game just other ff's did most parts better.
Objectively FF8, 7 or 6 can go any order in the top three FF games after that it's either 10 or 5 then 4, 12, 2, then 3 or 1. Any of the FFXIII's don't even deserve to be acknowledged.

It worked fine for me. You have the option to emulate in 60fps but to do that you have to switch off the code every time you go into a level.
