Ok gais, i think the majority of people saw this change coming km away, and there were still people who say that this was ''just'' for the karaoke game. Now, the new design is fucking terrible, she only needs a mask, and it will be a total burka, the old design was sexy and really nice, and yes, some pop stars wear bizarre things in their concerts.
Another thing, the developer of the game is Atlus, and the publisher is Nintendo, and i think that people know that if the publisher don't like something, they will tell the developers that is imperative to ''change'' that, because ''reasons'', in few words... what probably happened here is, that the designers from Atlus were thinking that the design was good and sexy and people will like it, but some fucks from Nintendo come and say ''No,no,no,no, you need to change that'', so yes, that's technically censorship.

This should never have been something that the game devs worked toward finding a middle ground for. This should've been a "fire the English localization team, they fucked up" scenario. And the fact that it wasn't, and this guy is still happy about his position and hasn't been forced to move out of Japan and back to America because he can no longer find a job is horrible.
