I bought this piece of shit (Logitech G502 PROTEUS CORE) at an the latest Amazon sale. It costed just 40€ instead of 90€.The ancient G500 was better.
Also I love the "flawless sensor" meme. This one is supposed to have a flawless sensor with no software smoothing or acceleration whatsoever but even though I'm one of us hardcore gamers I feel literally no difference in how it handles compared to the old G500. It may be worth mentioning that the only games I played in the last 5 or so years on my PC that weren't a console port or emulator stuff with a PS3 controller was4chan and various porn sites.
Anyway /v/, why don't you own an expensive pro gaymer mouse with le flawless sensor yet? What are you, some kind of noob?
>logitech mouse
hope you got a warranty with that

There's one rule: Do not buy mice looking like alien aircrafts.
>busing mice
They make controllers to play games now, anon.

I got one of these I few months ago and I'm fairly satisfied with it.
My main reason for getting one was being able to change the functions on all the buttons
>>318784234
With the G500, I had no issues and I owned pretty much since the day it came out. One day I slammed it very hard while I was in a bout of impotent rage and broke the middle click mechanism. And by broke I mean the PCB around it fucking snapped. The mouse still worked but I called logitech and told them the mouse was defective, they sent me another one for free without even returning the broken one. So I kept the broken one (remapped the middle click to right wheel tilt, which is also more comfy by the way, try it), and sold the new one on ebay for a nice price. I think that was around 3 years ago, not sure if Logitech has worse support now. Us superior Europeans have mandatory 2 year warranty on electronics anyway.

I own the mouse
Literally no problems with it whatsoever and I came off a old sensei mouse
also they advertised it as a "optical sensor that is tunable"
so instead of bullshitting youself to make a dumb thread how about you post the facts. There is no flawless sensor on their webpages on amazon to logitech
>upgrading your mouse unless you need it
I own one because my last one broke. It's nice, I like it because its not broken. Scroll wheel's solid and probably wont break like my last one.
>>318784234
wasnt razr always the one breaking quickly?
5years mx518 here
>>318784109
why do all these mice look uncomfortable as fuck to use
my storm spawn is comfy, no sharp edges or retarded LEDs
>>318784109
>costed
I see this mistake made often, and I don't know if it's one guy making this mistake all the time, or if /v/ is infested with retards.
>>318784791
I've had mine for 8 years now.
I don't think this thing is ever going to break. It still works the same as the day I bought it.

MX518 had a known design flaw where the USB cable was bent at a 90° angle at the 5-pin connector, causing the wires to either become damaged or outright sever.
I had my MX518 for like six years, so it was well out of warranty, and Logitech still sent me a G500 as a replacement.

just bought a couple of these from a bulk package $20 each. I actually prefer the DPI settings and it's cheaper too
i wonder why more mice don't have that shelf grip thing on the right side, it makes it a perfect claw grip mouse

I dont quite know what mouse to buy when mine should fail one day before my heart does, used exact this model since basically forever after ps2 era
>>318784109
>>318784721
I've had mine for over a year with no problems. Really like it actually. Had a G500 before it with no issues and I had that thing for like 4 years, still have it as a backup.
I just realized you can set the sniper button to give a second function to all the mouse buttons. This is the best fucking shit ever. Now I can sniper-wheel combo to change the volume while I listen to cringeworthy anime crap while I lurk here instead of playing games with my gaymer mouse.
This mouse went from a solid 6/10 to an 8.
I also discovered it has a function to analyze the surface of your desk to provide optimal tracking, but it doesn't seem to make a difference on my cumstained desk. This being a gaymer product should have been tunable to a cumstained surface. Or maybe the cumstained optimization is the default one, that's why it makes no difference.
>>318786681
The sensor's flawless so cum doesn't affect it.
>>318786681
Actually nevermind, I just realized you can't remap the mouse wheel. Fuck this, they had ONE job.
>>318784442
>>318787007
>not using your two side buttons next to it
>not using the two thumb buttons either
Hell you could even use the MW-Left/Right to adjust volume.
Does anyone remember that cool game that was posted here a few times to post aiming accuracy with the mouse? I remember 2, a boring one with shrinking circles you had to shoot, and a great one where you had to draw a circle around floating thingies which also had great comfy music.
>>318787007
Are you retarded?
>>318787007
>inb4 merely pretending
>>318784109
As someone who owned a G500 before the G502, I gotta tell you you're fucking retarded. Why are you even buying good mouses if you can't tell the glaring difference.

You fucking what.
>>318791121
That's the button not the scrolling.
>>318791525
Oh. Well, fair enough. There's still plenty of buttons though, use something else.
3 of my razers broken down, which only one of these lasted for more than 1 year (around 7 years, yeah, that was the best one i ever got), steelseries mouse broke after 1,5 year, now Im trying with Logitech, I just bought like 2 weeks ago my g502 mouse I hope it will last more than 2 years.
>>318784109
How do you hold that thing without cutting yourself?
>>318790080
Cool.
>>318784109
"flawless sensor" probably means you need to swing it inhumanly fast to experience negative acceleration, or plain wrong movement and glitches if you use a really shit mouse
you probably didn't swing your g500 too hard, only super low sens players would anyway
