Someone hasn't watched Embers.
>>
>>318762320
Last thing i ever saw and played, thank fuck that was it for me.
>>
He sat on a bench and fell asleep.
>>
>>318761821
Someone post that picture of that guy who used this image of Ezio on a dating website and actually got responses.
>>
>>318763342
damn I use to have that
bumping for this request
>>
>played asscreed syndicate because everyone said its goat asscreed
>doesnt have the same charm as 1-3 (yes I even enjoyed 3 because it wrapped up Desmonds storyline amazingly)
>play 4, pirate game (not bad but has nothing to do with AC in general
Nothing will ever capture the spark of 1-3 ever again, I loved being there for the ezio ride.
>>
>>318763260
WHAT?!
>>
He married that girl from Revelations and had a daughter.

He either died of a heart attack or poison.
>>
>>318763574
i dont think anyone said its the goat asscreed

its a pretty fun game, but its nowhere near the peak of the series.
>>
>>318763807
I've had many people tell me AC4 or ACS is the best of the bunch, but theyre all normalfags.
>>
>>318763574
Wot? ACII is the GOAT Creed. Then Black Flag.

He marries Sofia, has two kids in late age, dies on a bench in the same plaza where his father and brothers were hung.

Best Assassin.
>>
>>318761821
Ezio's story is fully complete and it doesn't need revisiting or anything, don't be gay. It's good as it is.

He had a son and a daughter, married some hot redhead that was like 20 or 30 years younger than him. He died because his heart stopped, on a bench while smiling at his family that was buying fruits and shit.
>>
>>318763574
>yes I even enjoyed 3
You have terrible taste.
>>
>>318763574
>he enjoyed 3 and thinks it wrapped up Desmond's story amazingly

Fucking kill yourself, holy shit.
>>
>>318763759
It was probably a heart attack. He was very old and had just fought a small army in his own house a few days before.

The young man who sits with him on the bench has the same voice and face of his rival from his young days in Firenze and when Ezio dies he is not there anymore, implying he was only a figment of his imagination/memories.
>>
>>318763490
Thirded. I love seeing human stupidity in action.
>>
>>318763947
>Best Assassin.

I agree. Was quite sad to see him go because I grew attached to him. One of my favorite video game protagonists.
>>
>>318763947
It was a good way to go, all things considered.
>>
>>318764225
That guy just really represents the young, naive Ezio. He kind of saw himself in him.

I fucking hate the facebook retards who think that Ezio was poisoned.

Thats the one.
Hilarious stuff
>>

but it wrapped up desmond's storyline 100%
It was a great ending
>>
>>318763574
3 was a lot of fun. I pined for a native American assassin before it came out and it delivered perfectly. Literally the perfect archetype.
>>

Fuck, I want more Lydia. Her character has a bit from Jacob and Evie.
>>
>>318764708
It wrapped it up, but it was wrapped up in the worst possible way, in anti-climatic fashion.

It's not fucking great. Desmond was supposed to get something else. Not this shit.
>>
>>318763574
I think Unity, despite the issues and lame story, did AssCreed right.
>>
>>318764708
>wrapped up his storyline
>"Desmond, you can either be the next jesus by laying low in this cave and surviving the solar flare, or touch my balls. I warn you that if you touch my balls the modern-side story will be irrevocably damaged and never make sense again."
>>
With Desmond, AC died.

Sure enough Syndicate is pretty fun but honestly it's not exactly the AC i grew to like with 1 and 2, just a decent sandbox game.

I remember the sense of urgency and intrigue when stopping templars actually meant something, or working towards stopping the end of the world. Or actually getting to play the present day segments, not just watch some weird looking cgi cutscenes

The bantz between the characters, the emails... modern day motegggigagiangaigaoni, Desmond actually using his assassin skills and the apple in 3...

the fucking great unique, lenghty and somewhat challenging dungeons in AC2.....

the cool subject16 subplot where you got to solve all these puzzles to unlock adam & eve stuff...

and i could go on. The series has maybe 10% of the depth it once had. It's literally just become a stab this guy and stab that guy simulator without much else going for it. Hell, Syndicate has practically 0 character development.

HIS was a good wrapped up story, not Desmond's. You see Ezio lose everything, mature, learn what being an Assassin truly meant while never losing his wits and charm and in the end he got a family, peace, and a content life and death.

His letter to Sofia in Embers is actually quite moving. ;_;

"When I was young, I had freedom, but I did not see it. I had time, but I did not know it. And I had love, but I did not feel it."
>>
>>318761821
>Does he have kids

I'd assume so, since Desmond is a thing. The whole point of the Animus is to tap into the memories of the user's ancestors, after all.

...Or did they throw that out since last I played?
>>
Ending of Revelations made me >feel
>>
>>318765453
The story of AC was fucked the moment they let the ancient aliens speak and doubled up the peril by adding the solar flare shit for marketing purposes.

You can tell they don't care about this Juno shit anymore but can't find a good way to resolve it.
>>
>>318763635

He died an old man on a public bench on a day out with his wife and son(?). Its a really nice way for him to go actually. Requiescat in pace you sexy GOAT character
>>
>>318765586
my afro american.
Revelations is storywise the best game.
Altair feels like a character in it and Ezio makes his peace at the end.

>Dessy is finally going to stop sitting in a chair and do something
>is kill
So was his arc just badly written or did they abort it?
>>
>>318765770

Feels like they aborted it to go the AC4 route and flip the whole story on its head.

Fuck the doomsday shit, lets see stuff from the templars POV. And it worked out pretty well all things considered. Shame about Desmond though
>>
they are blatantly bringing desmond back, or at least bring his brother in as playable character.
>>
>>318765691

Yeah he actually lived to be quite old (for that era) and especially for an assassin, most of them don't live very long, it's a risky "profession" to be in. And he didn't die violently.
>>
>>318765757
That fucking bit at the end where they tied Ezio and Altair together

fucking hell I nearly cried
>>
>>318764370
That guy was creepy as fuck.

>>318765453
You. I like you.
>>
>>318765574
maybe he can be a desendent of ezio's sister?
>>
>>318765876
might have to do with the fact that the original writer got fired by Ubisoft. He left after Assassin's Creed 2. I think he even got fired twice. The second time was after they bought the company he was working at and he happened to be employed there so they fired him again.
>>
>>318765770

It was both. Because of their "let's shit out one game per year" policy, they couldn't just abandon to plans for the character, so they toned down gradually Desmond stuff in the games and then in 3 killed him off. And was supposed to do like a big sacrifice but of course it didn't really affect the series in any way. Then they made it even worse by just basically making fun of themselves and Desmond in Black Flag and the games that followed, which actually cheapened the character even more. The modern day story doesn't really matter, the whole alien precursor shit, none of it really matters, I don't think most people care, they just can't drop it completely.
>>
>>318766116

>Leave company
>Company follows you
>And fires you again

Shit thats multi-rekt
>>
>>318765963
I though the theory now is that he has a secret son?
>>318766540
Patrice's history with Ubisoft is fucked up.
>>
Series turned to shit at the same time the kill animations did.
>>
>>318765770
asscreed one and two were made by patrice dessiletes (of prince of persia fame). They fired him after ac2.
You can see the result of this decision clearly.
>>
>>318765517
I still bad for him after Cristina died. Personally sometimes I get the feeling that he never really got over her.
>>318765621
What's she doing now? Still floating along in the internet? I don't necessarily mind the Ancient Aliens/Precursor humans subplot but dammit it's poorly written.
>>
>>318761821
he dies while sitting at a fucking bench
>>
>>318766116
not writer, director
that bitch raymond gets all the credit, but it was this man's hard work.
>>
>>318766816
She's about to be resurrected and hopefully dealt with for good so Ubisoft can go back to straight Assassin's vs Templars story with no goofy precursor shit.
>>
>>318766959
Doesn't he have a new game coming out that has to do with the evolution of man or something? How long until Ubisoft manages to shut that shit down in someway?

Assassins' Creed as a whole would have done a lot better that if the Animus thing was cut and was just the telling of an Order that survived the centuries. I mean there are some elements of that but it's gone Looney Tunes.
>>
>>318767064
some Ubi exec with too much money is probably always waiting for him to be almost finished with a project, then buy the company and fire him again.
>>
>>318766040
No he couldn't. He'd have to be a direct descendant. The idea is that memories are passed down in DNA. There's an arguable scientific basis to do with bird migration behind it.
>>
>>318767194
Speaking on this wasn't it heavily implied or said at some point in AC2 that Ezio and Altair were more directly related and wasn't that retconned to them being on different parts of the family tree?
>>
the joy AC1 and the ezio arc gave me, ill never forget.

i really liked the character ezio itself, that young handsome guy from italy.

now we have generic guys who murder people because fun.

at many points in the ezio games i told myself "oh ezio you smurk bastard".

fuck, altair was a cool guy, ezio too, all went downhill with 3
>>

THERE'S NO LIMITS
>>
>>318767937
No? I'm pretty sure this was a thing. I could have sworn that the Auditore ancestor was at one pont said to be of Levantine descent.
>>
>>318768410
Nope. The ancestor you're thinking of from the vault under monterrigione is Domenico and he was Venetian. He did know Marco Polo though and briefly had the Codex.
>>
>>318768618
I've been looking for around for this because I'm positive this is how it was before Revelations/maybe Brotherhood:

>In 1269, Altaïr's Codex had passed into the hands of Marco Polo, who had retrieved it from Kublai Khan. The Templars, having knowledge about the Codex, hired a contingent of pirates to retrieve it from the Assassin Dante Alighieri, who was transporting it from Venice to Spain.

>Dante was also escorted by his apprentice, a descendant of Altaïr's named Domenico, who had only recently been made aware of his Assassin heritage. As the pirates attacked, Domenico broke apart the Codex and hid it from the pirates, though he was too late to save the life of his Master and his wife.

>Eventually, Domenico and his son took the name of Auditore, and constructed the Villa Auditore in Monteriggioni. Beneath the villa, they constructed the Sanctuary; inside of which rested the unbreakable armor of Altaïr. These robes later passed into the possession of yet another of Altaïr's descendants, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze.

I've seen this block of text multiple times around the internet but I've never been able to track down the source.
>>
>>318768836
All the major lore on the Auditores is from AC2.
>>
>>318768936
Yeah I know, I can't remember if this came from the crypt or not. The line of distinction is the part about Altair's descendants which names Ezio specifically. Apparently that part is no longer the case which is what I'm saying, and that's according to Darby.
>>
>>318767349

Altair and Ezio's genetic line connected down the line. Ezio didn't have any of Altair's genes in him.
