Always shade in the direction you want the surface plane to be moving in to make stuff look more dynamic and less flat. For example, you see how you kind of scribbled in the top of that pyramid? If you made more defined strokes along the direction of that plane so that they make the angled corner on that pyramid, you'll get a prettier result

You need to pick your colors better anon, when you go for a brighter color to show volume, it doesnt look it pops out, it sort of blends. You can fix this by using less colors, but then playing around with the color sliders of your layer to see what works best.
