Really the best way to go through the game is just rush the story to the point that you get the Institute teleporter on your pipboy. Then you can go around and do other shit without fear of missing shit or doing shit too early. The Courser armor and Kellogg's armor is also pretty good for level 10 characters, but suck shit as soon as sturdy armor starts showing up.

6D in haven't met institute yet, only up to meeting virgil, acquired castle, done a few railroad quests and the blimp is around. All groups so far are shit, each time they've given me their infodump of goals/agendas they make clear they won't play nice with other groups.
Now when role playing you can't fucking shoot everyone in the face when the BOS openly declares all ghouls, synths etc must die, then they have the nerve to start extorting or racketeering the common populace. I understand you can just stop doing missions for the groups that piss you off but some of the companions are not killable until certain events in their own quest lines or opposing group lines. Depending on how you roleplay you might have the desire to kill them there and then for their values, but you can't.
Then comes the lack of dialog options and jarring nature of a voiced character. The tone of voice is wrong and the options to interrogate NPCs just isn't there for a proper RPG experience.
Biggest gripe is that I have to deal with some factions just to progress the story. It seems I can't just fumble around CIT to find my way to institute.

First of all, the Lone Wanderer was 19 and was presumably 20 by the time FO3 was over. Second of all it's only been 10 years after the start of Fallout 3. It's assumed that the Lone Wanderer left the BoS after Sarah died. He's most likely dicking around somewhere other than the Commonwealth or Capital Wasteland. If I had to guess he's either trying to fix the Pitt or he's somewhere between the Commonwealth and the Capital Wasteland in New York or something.

The game became easy after I got kneecapper guns. 20% to turn any opponent into a fucking joke, general limb damage guns are broken as fuck as well. This game is even worse in contextually reading situations. The companions you bring along don't effect things enough, you get info dumped on shit you already know when doing the main quest (doesn't take into account information learned by asking companions, side quests or terminals). Dialog options don't provide for a full response range. Companions want to/will fuck you after they infodump their life story on you after 3 conversations and all you've done with them is run around killing everything that moves. And once again I can be in league with everyone at once until a certain point at which I get warned about, that and limited ability to kill some NPCs.

Unfortunately no. Danse doesn't equip power armor like normal characters. Danse is literally a frame of armor and the power armor is equipped directly to him. Because it counts as his default armor you can't just equip new pieces to him and pull off the old ones and you can't tell him to get out of his armor because technically he is his armor.
There might be a mod out there somewhere that will let him get out of the armor though. It's a real shame too, because I like Danse in his Paladin armor and although the X-01 looks cool I'd rather have him looking fly in his Paladin set.

I get crazy input delay with Fallout 4 for whatever reason. I don't know if it's a graphical issue or an issue with my computer settings or what. My computer's able to handle most games on maximum graphical settings, so I'm skeptical of that, but maybe Fallout 4's just got it in for me.
Anyone know how to remove or at least decrease input delay in FO4?
