As a game with no G (as far as I know, has that changed?) I can't see us getting the game unless it gets an updated rerelease. Even then, it'll probably take a year or more to localize the game and by that point Ninty will probably have a new handheld so they won't bother. Then we'll have to wait for MH5U, which will probably take be like 3-4 years now before a western release.

Capcom and Nintendo made a deal back in 2010. At first it was going to be for 3 years after the release of the first MH game for 3DS but it seems it got extended or something.
Capcom is talking now of wanting to develop a MH game on better hardware and japanese leakers of different stores and the like are saying that Capcom is receiving a lot of complains from fans that their graphics are garbage (which explains Capcom going public with the previous statement)
If that means a NX ready title for next year or maybe a Wii U only game or whatever is up in the air.

If the NX can play 3rd party games, I wouldn't even buy it because I already have a PC and PS4. So even if Japan started to support the NX, they will never stop supporting the PS4. So I don't see the need to get a NX for japanese games. The west will never give a shit about a Nintendo console, unless is the market leader by a large margin, which will never happen again.
