Question: How much time do you spend on average on one drawing?
I can sit up for like 6 hours just trying to get the line art right but then I lose any motivation to shade it or color it. I just wish I could work faster but I keep getting caught up on minutiae and little compositional aspects and it saps my creativity and energy.

That's just it. Drawing the crap should motivate you to look at your work and see where you went wrong or what methods you ought to try differently if any were consciously done at all.
It sucks when something isn't quite what you pictured in mind, that's something that's going to happen if you're a developing artist but getting better isn't supposed to be pretty no matter what the craft. You're gonna make shit when you're just getting into something, be it an burned pie, a lopsided clay pot or a drawing of a horse that looks more like a balloon with matchsticks glued to it. Catching yourself where you suck is what allows you to make the work better, doing things the same way and hoping the time alone put into a piece (without growth) entitles one to praise and shunning anyone pointing out the flaws is just a one-way ticket to Dobbyville.

Sure, this works if you want to draw porn for a living. Here's some better advice:
Start a webcomic. Start a Patreon to go along with it. It doesn't even matter if you know how to draw. Make it a slice of life. Probably best to stick to things you know. Since you're browsing /v/ I'm going to assume you probably work retail, most likely a video game store.
Make the main character a self insert for yourself and invent a best friend. Probably a bigger fat guy. Stick with comics about shitty customers, make fun of games coming out, and draw lots of yourself sitting at home playing video games. Always make sure you're the snarky guy who's (almost) always right.
If you're falling behind just pre-draw bodies/faces/eyes/mouths and copy and paste them in.
Eventually start developing a story arc. Have something tragic happen, a loss. Maybe a hospital scene? Eventually just reboot your world with some shitty convoluted storyline and take your self insert out. Then add it back as a superhero. Go wild. Who cares, you're getting fat patreon cash to draw comics at a 5th grade level.
