Nah M8 you're wrong. NV is more fun because of how well written it is. While you can't escape the shit combat and problems of the Creation engine you can have an entertaining adventure through a games story telling and that's a major part of the Fallout series, which is where Bethesda fails and Obsidian succeeded. I genuinely enjoyed exploring NV and the areas in the DLCs, where as I didn't with 3 since it's extremely shallow.

I admit, I sort of enjoyed it on release. It was better than unmodded Oblivion, that's for sure.
But then New Vegas came out and basically pasted my favorite bits of FO1-FO2 into my favorite bits of FO3 (and its mods). FO3 is simply made obsolete by NV, just like UT2003 was made obsolete by the much better UT2004.

Sure in the previous installments you had more dialogue choices, but it didn't "change anything" either really.

I hate this "New Vegas has less to explore/more invisible walls" bullshit of a myth.
Most of the city proper in 3 was inaccessible due to wreckage conveniently sparing the map designers from actually making an elaborate map of most of the city and simply replace it for a barren desert with the occasional wreckage. Also, the invisible walls in Fallout 3 were far more noticeable. I stumbled upon them by accident, unlike in New Vegas, where I had to actively seek them out to see as far as I could reach. Every single open-world game has an "end" to its maps, not rarely with literal invisible walls. Fallout has never been procedurally generated before, so why expect it to be? I don't understand how that's a complaint.

Latin was pronounced differently among thousands of years. Classical is seen as the most correct but for a lot of people Ecclesiastic flows better. Some songs are sung exclusively in classical whilst others (like Carmina Burana or some Requiems) in Classical.

I think a lot can be explained when you consider that the Northeast was hit significantly harder than the West, meaning that 84 years later most of the West was clean enough to have thriving societies but at the same time in the East you still had deadly levels of radiation present.
Also correct me if I'm wrong but there seemed to be more vaults in the West that allowed their populations to survive, while in the East most of the Vault experiments usually resulted in the death of it's inhabitants.
I still see no problems with the towns of Fallout 3 and 4, but apparently they seem to trigger a lot of people.

You can convince the master that his plan won't work because it actually won't work (his mutant nation is sterile and will die out within a generation if he converts / kills everyone). You also have to actually have evidence to that effect and engage him in a prolonged conversation which you can fail if you make the wrong choices.
You can convince Eden to destroy himself because he's a machine and that's bad for some unspecified reason with a single dialogue check.
Also convincing Eden to kill himself doesn't change anything. You still need to escape the Enclave headquarters and have to fight them at the purifier. Whereas if you convince the master to kill himself you skip the final fight of the game.
