From personal experience though, I've never had an issue, and I've used smaller drives and transferred data between different flash drives using the internal storage as a hub. I suppose that could be an issue, but considering I've only ever had data on unconnected flash drives for maybe a day max, I suppose its possible. If I were you I'd just look for a bigger one. Considering it is Cyber Monday, you could probably get a good deal on a decent sized one.

Now I've bought the game, but it'll be the last game I buy from these guys unless something seriously changes.
Luckily the Wii U has had CFW for a while, so I'm just going to play through the game and stop updating my console. I can always play the Japanese version later for free and I've heard some talk about an undubbed/uncensored version, so the changes don't bother me much anymore.

Basically you summon elements and each element gives you a temporary buff. These buffs also have a radius around Melia which buffs your party members. Having multiple elements out will not stack buffs.
After firing off enough elements off, Melia gets the Elemental Burst aura for a while, which doubles ether damage. I believe it's based off of Melia's tension level. In this mode you get access to two attacks, Burst End and Mind Blast, both of which I believe do not have a chance of depleting your Elemental Burst aura, so you might as well use them if you got them.
Since Elemental Burst also counts as an aura, you get the benefits of any of Melia's skills that activate during auras
What I did was:
Give her a bunch of Ether Up and Electric Up gems.
Use Summon Bolt for massive damage
Use Summon Ice and Earth for defensive buffs
Maybe have Power Effect on so I could give people buffs from farther away
Spear Break into Starlight Kick for toppling enemies, which is pretty overpowered
Have 3 elementals summoned before doing a chain attackpreferably bolts, as casting them counts as using a Talent Art, which can chain from and into any attack
There could be a lot of neat discussion about the game if people weren't complaining about censorship.
