I liked KOTOR, but it had a weird obsession with putting you into fights that you were forced to lose.
I remember how in the first showdown against Darth Fuckface I comboed him almost to death in one turn and was cut to a cutscene with my party screaming WE HAVE TO FALL BACK HE'S TOO STRONG. No he's not, he's a fucking pussy. Give me literally one turn and I finish him and beat the game right here. But nope, gotta run because the plot said so.
