Katamari is a game so simple and stellar that any sequel was unnecessary. An HD remaster would be nice though, to enjoy the original game on current consoles. I still have my PS2 hooked up to my CRT, but lord knows people could use some Katamari these days.

I also thought Touch My Katamari expanded the mechanics in a simple and effective way; if it weren't for the bullshit fan system it'd probably be the definitive Katamari game. Plus the analogs on the Vita are much easier to mash dashes out of, due to their lower profile.

Portable Ops has a better plot than Peace Walker and is basically Peace Walker without the tedious grinding, it also has actual boss fights.
