The problem with the DLC is how the NG+ difficulty ramps everything up to obscene levels.
It isn't impossible, but it's a definite difficulty curve.

Every fight is hard in NG+, but only because you die faster and take less damage. Any fight is easy once you know how to dodge every attack.
I always see some video for Bloodborne when I'm on youtube of some NG+7 beating all bosses with no damage. Why does it matter what NG you're in if you can dodge every attack anyway? All it means is you have to dodge more of them because the fight takes longer.

Peeves was on NG+7 and took 48 hours to beat Orphan of Kos. From NG+2 onward they do so much damage and have so much health that you have to be perfect against them.
