You can pull off vidya/anime clothing and such as long as it's not tacky and logo-plastered or really cheap material and you have a complementary outfit. Don't let these permalosers bring you down with their contrarian nonsense. For example, I bought one of those Diamond Dogs varsity jackets when they were on sale and I wear it from time to time. It looks fantastic, but only because I wear other pieces that balance the outfit (having a huge wardrobe helps). Just this Friday I bought a biker jacket that was similar to the one Big Boss wears at the end of MGSV (not licensed), and I've been having a lot of fun making outfits to wear that with. It looks great at mygfloves it.
