Yes and? If you're making a reference to Moriarty's accent in Fallout 3, the main problem with him is he somehow entered the United States by crossing the Atlantic since it's stated in the game he wasn't born in the US. It makes no sense.

But honestly it is easy to get into a rhythm in FO4, the plot hardly matters at all, it's just fun to hoard shit, or run around as grognak the barbarian murdering ghouls with an axe, or be the Silver Shroud dispensing justice with a silenced 10mm pistol, or be an angry retard 1 INT melee guy with a sword. Now that items no longer decay, you can go on longer bouts of scavenging without fearing armor break or weapon decay. once you find a style you like, the game lets you stick with it and scales around your level

His grandfather could have been 100 to 110 pretty easily.
That would mean his grandfather was a kid before the bombs dropped, since FO1 takes place in 2161
