Skies of Arcadia along with Grandia 2 are some of the best jrpg's I have ever played.

I really liked most of the cast from 12 but the game play was really lack luster for me, the game could have done with out Vaan to be honest. The only characters I like from 9 were Steiner , Beatrix and Vivi other than that I just couldn't care less , the whole cast of FF VIII was garbage.

that's funny, I loved the cast too.
I don't really need to "relate" to my game characters in general though. I often consider myself being like a divine spectator guiding the characters through their ordeals, not "be" the character.

I dont mean relate as in to "be" the character, is more like relate to them in terms of being sympathetic to their plight maybe "relate" is not the word I should have used.
