Battlefront might catch your attention, for a week or so. After that you'll realize that the game is as shallow as a puddle. Everyone I know is trashing it- even my normalfag friends. I can't speak for BLOPs since I haven't bought a CoD game since 4, but I have no doubt that it's better than Battlefront, Treyarch actually care.

BfrontII is still the better game without contest. BfrontII has better movements, shooting, maps, OPTIONS for how to go about battles, more heroes, the much needed ability to remove heroes from the map, better balancing thanks to each faction having a solid counter-vehicle to each other, and along with having classes comes seeing more variety in troopers. Not all EU shit either, but imperial gunners, scouts, jump troopers, and commanders are all there.
All the new Bfront offers are touched up visuals and.... air battles? I guess? It's really just an extension of ace combat horizon anyway, which was an awful game.

There's tons of customization in Blops 3. Lije, the most there has ever been in a CoD game. Add in zombies, a campaign, a campaign with zombies, several different types of multiplayer modes.
Basically if you want a generic shooter than you should probably get the one with more options considering there's only like 3 fun things to do in Battlefront and doing the same three things for 60 dollars is ass.

Blops3 is the only cod I have played since..black ops. It's still exactly the same shit at heart, but zombies in 3 has a nice lovecraftian twist, the gameplay is actually much more varied, however my reference point is collectively 4 to 5 call of duties ago, so it's like skipping from assassin's creed 2 to syndicate.
Battlefront is fun, it's definitely...star wars.
However heroes aren't done well balance or use wise (camping hero spawns), no space battles and a pathetic amount of content for a game that makes MGSV feel like five completed games on comparison.

Since they are important to the objective they would be walking the same way with a driver it would just introduce the possibility of an idiot hopping in and fucking it all up. The air combat is far better in this game and the star cards allow you to put skills in the shooter wich translates to strategic gameplay. You haven't played the game and the only real issue with the game is lack of content.

Blops 3 has limited boosting and the parkour is rarely used except for the death pits they shoehorned into every level. I literally almost never use the wall running shit. The spawning is a lot worse than you describe. The squad spawning is just limited to a single partner, but that's not the worst part. You can't pick where to spawn at all, they just slap down a box and go "okay they'll spawn here". It doesn't matter if it's as far away from the action as possible, it doesn't matter if the entire enemy team is currently camping that area. You have no choice but to spawn in this little random area. I haven't seen a game with spawns and spawn killing this dreadful in years.

This. I bought Titanfall for $8 on Amazon and it's fucking exceptional. Huge maps, fast movement, solid co-op vs ai mode that actually provides a challenge.
Also, due to Gametime and the recent sales, it's definitely not a "dead game" like everyone says, unless you really want to play the more obscure modes all the time.

Black Ops 3's map design constrains the usefulness of wallrunning. Not just the fact that most of the explicit wallrun places are just pit falls, but also that there are basically no places outside the pit falls and obstacle course maps where you ever chain the movement mechanics together. It also lacks bhop which synergized well with Titanfall's movement mechanics (and Advanced Warfare's for that matter), which adds another layer to moving around and which doing is an actual skill in of itself.
So lets say EA/Dice release tons of new content for Battlefront, and I get it when it's cheaper.
Would it be worth it then? The overall game looks pretty fun, it's just the lack of content that's putting me off.

I had a shitload of fun, to be honest. But there is so little content, and the maps are railroads, so every match started to feel the same. Obviously it's not realistic to expect that they can make a game with as much content as Bfront II in this day and age, but four maps for $60 is borderline offensive. So glad I could spend the weekend playing at a friend's to confirm this is not worth a buy.
