Egoraptor jumped the shark years ago. Game Grumps introduced me to Jontron, who I still watch, and it's annoying seeing how obsessed some of the comments on his videos get over anything GG related.

Wind Waker was really bad, but it was sometimes entertaining to see how easily they'd miss obvious clues and button prompts.
Pokemon Fire Red was really bad, I didn't even know that it was possible to be that bad at Pokemon. Makes me wonder how Emerald would have gone if they continued it.

It made me really mad at the time they were airing it, but in retrospective I enjoy it a lot. My biggest problem was how little happened in the 10 minute span, it was usually Arin just being a retard for the entire video with little to no progress being made, but now that I can watch the entire thing in one go I enjoy it. I watch/listen to it while playing vidya or drawing. Same with Sonic '06.

Mario Sunshine is a better game than Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy. Galaxy 2 is better than 1 and about on part with Sunshine.

the camera complaint on 64 is a valid yet kinda minor issue. if anything they improved that by making the camera smarter in future games, ultimately taking away user control, which i honestly dislike about some games with no free cameras.
and for Zelda, i guess the problem with OoT is the linearity of it. unless if you know some glitches you are gonna have pretty much the same runs as every one else. I enjoy zeldas like Link Between Worlds and the really old zeldas over it.
there are critisms of both games, but i don't think the arguement of aging badly is a sound one. it's just people played the games, loved them, then uses what they loved about them to their games they are marketing today and leaving out the features that frustrates themselves.

I personally don't mind the political correctness, I just kind of feel like they are just trying to pump out as many episodes as possible to the detriment of the show. Back with jon episodes would regularly run long, and if they spent an entire episode with no progress because they made a stupid death, a lot of the time they would do a fast forward. Now, Danny will SCREAM as soon as the clock hits 9:59 to stop the episode, and I can't remember the last time they used a fast forward. They both knew how to play games (kinda) and were able to talk about if something felt good or bad. They also had great banter.

I still think Jon was better than Danny by a longshot. He actually played video games and had experience entertaining, even if it was just theater stuff, so he was good at improv and had the knowledge to carry his half of the burden. Call him a sperg or whatever but he understood what the channel was and he had great chemistry with Arin, who had the opportunity to be dry and cynical since Jon was so bombastic.

Well they usually film for about 1-2 hours, so that makes about 5-10 episodes, depending on if they like the game their playing. So Arin/Danny do this twice, so maybe 2-4 hours of filming for two different games. Then the middle slot is whatever now, so it could be any of the grumps, expect Danny. So really that's all they do filming wise, with Arin being the only one who can be in all of the uploads. As for who does what now, it's not hard to guess
Arin: Aside from GG, nothing. He always says he's animating, but he isn't. He just likes to say hes doing something.
Dan: Has his band with NSP and just does GG for money and band exposure, which has actually helped a ton.
