I don't know. People said the opening cinema where Joel's daughter dies was heartbreaking... But I certainly didn't feel it, and the morally ambiguous choices Joel makes along the way are supposed to make him feel human and relatable, but I didn't feel that either.

The gameplay is really fun on survivor and grounded though.

Nothing. It's an okay game with lots of railroading to provide a cinematic experience that is fairly enjoyable for a single playthrough but ultimately lacking in enduring appeal.

/v/ hates it just because it's Sony's exclusive and overhyped by the vidya journalism. Everyone else just enjoyed it. Same with Uncharted.
