Yes the only thing mkII did better was gameplay and even then it's nothing to brag about. The main cast minus the human characters was fucking shit and the interactions weren't half as interesting as in the original.
I personally did not find anything wrong with the first Neptunia's gameplay on the PS3...
I do remember that the game got incredibly easy early on once I learned neptune break.
