All damage mods like that stack. Cryo is even better because the more often it hits, the more often you freeze your target. I have a plasma thrower with cryo damage on it and all the fire rate bonuses I can get on it. Shit disintegrates anything it touches and even better, if it doesn't kill something within the first 3 seconds of firing it, it will guaranteed freeze them in place.

Is anyone else finding the game too easy once you upgrade your weapons?
I went from having to save scum my way through a fight, to one-shotting everything after I got Science! rank 2 and upgraded my laser weapons.
I'm on Very Hard at the moment and considering bumping it up to Survival.

Survival isn't any harder in terms of damage modifiers, at least I don't think. I think all it does is slows down heal time drastically. If you play on PC, there are a number of different mods that tweak the AI so that combat makes more sense. They will constantly bombard you with gunfire, and actually do strafing moves and try to flank you. It actually feels like a whole different game sometimes.

It's a lot of things, but it's not ugly, the art style is great. Graphics don't determine the ugliness or prettiness, art style does. Deus Ex looks great, System Shock 2 also, Doom, Quake, Thief 1&2 especially, etc. Ever since Crysis came out people seem to forget that.

Minute Men ending lets you stay neutral with BOS and Railroad if you choose to. Personally, I purged them.

Minutemen are the Yesman in this game I'm pretty sure. Outside of reclaiming the Castle, they never tell you to do anything. You always just come to them for help and they help you with that thing. With the Railroad, Institute, and BoS you always act as their lap dog. The Minutemen are largely useless though and don't really have a figure head telling you what to do. There's Garvey, but he doesn't make you do anything, he just suggests settlements to help. Whether you do or not is up to you.

Overseer's Guardian really is a boring legendary. It'd be one thing if the second shot had a different trajectory, but it's just a fancy way of saying double damage. You're right about how good it feels to shoot with 308 ammo though. Even on survival difficulty you're able to put down Super Mutant Masters and Brutes with single headshots.

A lot of the prefixes are fucking trash. But there are some good ones that can hold a candle to double damage. Bleeding weapons in particular can be fucking devastating with a high fire rate on an automatic weapon. Infinite clip size shotguns and missile launchers are also good if you just want to spam the fire button and see things melt. There's also the double damage on full life targets which can be on Gauss Rifles and Fat Men.
