Can anyone recommend some essential Vita games?
Picked one of these up yesterday and I need some shit to play on it. I already have Muramasa Rebirth and Senran Kagura SV.
P4G was pretty much the reason to get a Vita/Vita TV for a large number of people. If you're into the Ace Attorney games, Dangan Ronpa 1/2 are alright.

All of the above are games that I played and really liked, and all of them work on PSTV. I'd also recommend EDF2: Invaders from planet space but that comes out on December 8th.
There's currently a sale this week and a flash sale going on until early monday morning with a 10% off coupon on top of those so use that to pick up at least something on there. I know at least VLR is on sale for $10 this week.

Sadly nah. Not yet at least. But you can get free psp and ps1 games. And psp homebrew. And ps vita homebrew if you have the right firmware.
I recommend putting in a preorder for Trails of Cold Steel.

I've heard in previous threads that since the latest patch in both that they pretty much run the same, just in some cutscenes there's a little frame dropping in the Vita version.
I'm going with the Vita version since I like RPGs on handhelds more, and sleep mode works wonders with long games. Also I don't have to listen to my PS3s crazy loud fan.

As an FYI for something I noticed on Atelier Ayesha Plus: the Atelier games are MASSIVE storage hogs (3.5GB a piece usually), and I noticed that there may be some lag/increased load times on the PSTV. I tried playing Ayesha on it, and it wasn't playing as smoothly as on the vita itself. Not sure how the others play on PSTV though.
Though, it could also just be my PSTV running weird.

Are you using the same memory card between the Vita TV and Vita? That could explain the slightly longer load times since each card is similar but different in their read/write speeds.
I've noticed the Vita tv being maybe a frame or two lower than playing on Vita. That has to do with the Vita's native resolution being 544p, while it outputs at 720p to your tv which puts a little more work on the system.
