Besides XB1 being less powerful for the same price, I can tell you why people aren't buying the Wii U, and for good reason:
- The tits on Nintendo's franchises have been milked to powder. Nintendo is officially the Hello Kitty of video games, having its characters plastered everywhere.
- Terrible account system.
- Online exists but only in a "think of the children's safety!" way. It's very limited.
- With an external HDD, the least powerful console is about the same price as the other two (not counting a refurbished one).
- The main gimmick and controller is 150 to replace, and is used in only used in a few games in any sort of meaningful way.
- No ethernet jack in the year 2015. Wireless only unless you pay shekels for anow adapter which takes up needed USB slots.
- Lackluster exclusives save for Dong Freeze and two Platinum games. If you want to brag about exclusives, then my smart phone blows it the fuck out of the water. Exclusive doesn't mean good.

How so? Not having a gaming pc means you realize the futility of getting one. Why would someone spend $200 upgrading for a better gpu when it only lets them play a few console ports at slightly better settings? They're already going to have a ps4 or vita for all the multiplats that haven't been ported, so why would you need a more capable pc? I'm still using my toaster from 2010 and it's more than enough for me. I only use pc for exclusives like rtses or mod oriented games like fallout. None of these games are graphically demanding so old pcs are still more than enough to play them at the best settings.

I also have a 3DS, since it's the vastly superior nintendo console at the moment (MonHun, FE, Etrianodyssey). I see no reason to buy a vita, and I see that you don't either since you regretted your purchase. I can just get the better Vita games on my PS4 instead.

No, I said a lot of them were "meh". There are better RPGs than Star Ocean, and I never really got into the Drakengard series. Horizon does look like some newage bullshit, and Uncharted has lost my attention. Seemed like a solid trilogy, but i'ts just getting rehashed so quickly, even Mario games are normally only one genre per console since the N64 days. I will end up buying a PS4, but only when it gives me some good stuff that I can't get on my PS3, PC, and Vita.

You can play whatever you want, but doesn't mean people won't understand your life choices or choice in waifu. But when asking what you should be playing, games are meant to be a test of skill, a puzzle to try and overcome to reach the end thus completing the task. You playing games beneath your level of skill seems almost pointless. When we are kids these things were challenging, but why do it now? Because you are attached to them on a personal level?
What you're asking me is the equivalent of you watching saturday morning cartoons and asking me what you should be watching. I don't care what you watch, i just want to know and understand what makes it worth your time.

You clearly don't know what you're talking about then. Adults regularly struggle with Mario games, and DKC games are far harder than pretty much anything on any of the consoles right now. Ever notice how reviewers claim that Kirby's Rainbow Curse and Tropical Freeze are "frustrating"? It's because they didn't beat the games, because they are too difficult for them. You haven't given me anything that tells me you aren't just trolling me right now. I've pretty much given you a dissertation on my taste and opinions, and all you've said is "yeah but those games are easy!" over and over. I'm starting to grow tired of this. I've told you what you want: The games are visually pleasing, enjoyable to play, have great music that ties everything together, and are more challenging than most games these days. That's the answer, take it or leave it.
