Because you are Reddit
It's a very visually appealing flower.
I wonder how difficult to grow they are. I'd consider planting some.
>>318167201
More than 8, that's for sure.
Are sunflowers alligned with good or evil?
>>318168431
Growing them to a healthy yellow like in your picture, hard. Else they're like weeds you don't need to do anything but their color will truly suffer from it.
Why is Just Cause 3 only fun for the first 2 hours?

This. They'll choke out the rest of your garden and grow rampantly unless you tend to them regularly. And unless you tend to them regularly they will also look like droopy shit. They're not hard to grow, just hard to make look good, if that makes sense.
Also they will attract an unholy amount of insects to your place. Not just the pretty ones. The asshole ones too.

I live in PA.
We don't get bad insects up here.
Worst thing we get are those house centipedes and I just squash em if I see em.

I live in Massachusetts and we had one of those big ass hard-shell beetles that we literally had to crush with a bowling ball when I was a kid.
I used to know what it was called but now I can't remember for the life of me.
>>318169260
that's fantastic actually
>>318169542
If you don't mind wasps and hornets and yellowjackets trying to zoom into your from every crevice. By the way, most of these guys will try to take up permanent residence by building hives in all sorts of crevices on or near your building.
Good maintenance is required for sunflowers. When they die in the winter, they also produce a lot of decaying matter that has to be cleared out.
I'm only speaking from experience. Lived with my aunt for a few years during college and she had a lot of them in her garden. She went out of the country at one point and they became my problem while I house sat. Very pretty to look at, but the upkeep is a bitch. Not the first plant I'd default to if you're not super into gardening, but I'll admit it's an experience in and of itself.

Why can't plants fucking take care of themselves?
This has always annoyed me.
Why do they exist in the first place if they're so dependant on humans.

>>318171737
The fuck are you talking about We are the ones dependants on plants
We wouldn't be able to breath without them
>>318171737
Plants are independent. It's humans attempting to grow them in close proximity to other plants or growing them in a place where they don't grown naturally that causes issues.

Shit

It was fine.

Rev 1 is shit.
Rev 2 is shit and also makes Claire look ugly.
>>318171737
If you plant a shrub in a place where it doesn't naturally grow, it's going to need special attention or else it will die.
more than 4, that's for sure.
>>318171737
Oh my fucking god
