The writer basically confirms to why the deconstruction of the RPG genre is now happening at a fast pace; people lack so much patience that they need to told and or given the good stuff like 2 hours in.
Back then it was okay to say you will get your airship 30 to 50 hours in depending on how the player tackles side content along the way, but now 20 hours to get to a skell seems to be too much for some. So in response Bethesda allows you to get the Power Armor, which now acts like a tank in Fallout 4.
I mean what did the writer expect? No tutorials and no exposition at the beginning to explain any of what is going on, what's at stake, and your role in all of this? What's even worse is that once the first two chapters are over you're given free reign to go wherever you want.

You don't NEED the replicas for the final boss, they're all shit anyway.
And yeah, you're pretty much right at the end. You know that point where Dunban asks you if you're REALLY ready to go and there won't be any turning back and then the game asks you if you want to go or stay?
Well you can't save beyond that point and will have to fightDicksonfollowed by Zanza. I recommend at least doing the final boss fights once while you're still in your 80's, and then loading back and doing all the sidequests you want. Sadly Zanza doesn't scale and facing him at level 99 removes all challenge from the fight.

For theZanzafights, I feel the best team is Shulk, Reyn/Dunban, and Riki. Riki can handle healing duty and is overall quite useful, so you should probably control him. Shulk and Dunban/Reyn do fine when controlled by the AI.
Also, check your gem setup. Some gems can make a considerable difference.

Ok, I was basically doing the same thing but with Sharla instead of Shulk.
Say what you want about Sharla, however I find having a dedicated healer is great for longer fights.
Anyways, what's a good moveset for Riki, because everyone talks about how great of a party member he is, but I have a really hard time putting together something good for him.
