Is this the best DLC of 2015? Witcher 3's big expansion was excellent, too.
it's shit, absurdly difficult garbage designed for fanatics of the game
don't even bother wasting your money if you aren't a hardcore fan of the game

Bloodborne a shit 15 fps artificial difficulty souls is stale rehashit was pretty good
Yes its awesome, the new areas and the exploration makes it worthwhile.
>>318110036
dlc is bad because you couldn't git gud? Why dismiss all the other great parts of the expansion?
>10fpsborne
>of any merit
>>318110036
Fuck off dsp
You copied that word for word from his stream
>>318110235
You're not even trying, holy shit
>>318110580
It seems to make you mad nevertheless.
MAJESTIC!
I think TW3 Heart of Stone was better and Blood and Wine will be even better than Heart of Stone. CDPR really blew every game out of the water this year.
>>318110036
DSP is that you
>>318109947
No sadly i don't like that a lot of the map is just the main game with dirt mounds. Also the bosses felt uninspired except second form Ludwig. Copycat enemies and bosses all over this dlc. Fuck that shit. Base game was sweet though.
Amazing DLC. Shame BB won't win game of the year even though its probably sold more than half of all the PS4s that have been sold. It was the only reason I bought one. Bethseda will win with FO4 because $$$
>>318111437
Can exclusives even win GOTY?
Love how well it crafted the whole "the sky and the cosmos are one" and the revelation the Choir had about being blind with the last part of the DLC. Research Hall is Silent Hill top tier level of dread and horrific/mad design.
>>318109947
I liked both DLCs a lot but Witcher's was a lot Cheaper.
>>318110235
I keep hearing this. Was performance a big issue at some point? I'm playing it for the first time right now on my PS4 I just bought over the holiday sales and the performance is fine. Not noticing any bad FPS drops and even loading times are usually just a couple seconds.
>>318111487
I would imagine the only qualification should be that it is a game.
>>318111639

Bloodborne, as much as I love it, wont win GOTY because its exclusivity. What retards will antagonize their big mutiplat audience giving the award to a game that sold 2-3 million when there is Witcher 3 which is more casual, with generic fantasy setting, and easy to understand game that yet is an objectively great game? Or maybe MGSV given the Kojima/Konami drama affair.
>>318109947
This was just a good year for expansions in general. Don't forget about Plague of Shadows and Joyful. And Heavensward, if that's your thing.
>>318112126
Did you not forget Demon's Souls got GOTY at many publications? As did MGS4? As did Mario Galaxy? Exclusivity does not preclude a GOTY win.

It'd be perfect, if not for Cleric Beast 2.0.
Fuck that fight, I was willing to keep fighting in the hopes it didn't infinite combo me to death, or kill me in one hit randomly despite all the fire protection I've got, but I've run out of blood vials. And this boss is NOT fucking worth the time grinding for blood vials.
So my only option is to grind blood vials and summon help. Not doing any of that shit. Fuck it.
This boss isn't fun for me, with the other bullshit-hard bosses it at least felt like my fault for losing. This one? It feels like the game is just deciding "This time the player doesn't dodge and can't escape. It'll be the same for the next thousand tries."
I'm actually making progress and can usually get the boss into his third phase, but I can't do anything from that point on. I die too quickly to learn any attacks, and that bullshit "use ranged attacks" thing doesn't fucking work. It takes too long and one good attack and I'm combo-ed to death.
Is Orphan Kos as bullshit as this boss? I can understand it being more difficult, but is it as frustratingly annoying as Cleric Beast 2.0?
>>318112668
I understand you completely, but it was nice to see them clear the theory that Cleric Beast was in fact Laurence.
Orphan of Kos is great, Maria is nice too (I love that part), Ludwig is the highlight. Love it all overall.
>>318112668
>grinding for vials
Why?
It takes like 10 minutes tops.
Should I put Fallout 4 on hold to dive into this DLC?
I would have to make a new guy, he is on NG++ and I heard that's a nightmare for this DLC
>>318114541
I'm swapping between both. Its good times.
>>318112126
>more casual
Dude, souls series are as casual as it gets.
This is coming from someone who imported the Korean Demons souls edition.
>mfw i didnt get to buy bloodborne for 20 bucks at target
you guys think its gonna be cheaper to get it on PSN around christmas
>>318109947
No.
It's not the best DLC of 2015.
It's the best DLC PERIOD.
Who Playstation Nation here? Working on Sliders of PS4-tan as we speak
>>318112668
Fire cleric beast is easy mode.
He's has the exact move set except with fire element instead. The only real problem is his second phase because it's almost impossible to melee dps without taking a hit.
I remedied this with 25 bt bowblade. Also, if you kill the insane dude in the prison who keeps repeating lines about the church, he drops his eastern wanderer set which has the highest fire resist in the game
Easiest->hardest
Laurence->Living Failures->Maria->Ludwig->Kid Kos
>>318114541
breezed through DLC in NG+ today
Except the anchor fish faggots, you'll understand when you meet them
>>318112668
You can't dodge his attacks even though they are telegraphed, and you're mad that you can't outgear it.
They even give you the option to cheese the legless version of him by baiting the lava spit-easy to do with the long hallway.
