What compels people to do this? That is, make female models look like something pulled straight out of Second Life.
While we're at it, why is it that every single fucking lighting mod for any game ever makes nights dark as fuck? Yeah I get it, it's more realistic and all that happy bullshit, but when darkness doesn't effect enemy's ability to spot you it's fucking stupid.

The Mario looks shit-tier with how he looks, but I kinda do actually like how the castle itself looks.
In truth, an HD/hi-res retexturing of games like this and shit is legit tempting to see happen. Especially for those games who go almost full solid colors for everything because lelN64Hardware. Sure it can be done shittily, but I'm fine with seeing how it goes.
