Mouse is starting to double click hard so I think it's time to get a new one.
I'm currently using a G400s, but the Deathadder is half off on both newegg and Amazon, while the G400s is still normal priced.
Is the Deathadder worth $40 or should I just shell out $60 for another G400s?

Just buy a regular mouse, mate.
>not getting a g502
git gud

I used to just get cheap rando $10-$20 mice but they would go in less than 6 months. I put the money out there for a G400s in 2012 and it hasn't steered me wrong until now, probably due to wear and tear.
Logitech literally makes the most functional mouse on earth.
Razer makes glowy ricer shit.
I don't know anon, it's such a difficult choice!

Looks ricer as fuck. I'm looking for something reliable as well as ergonomic.
How's it compare to the G400s other than looking like a cyberpunk upgrade?

If the g500 is any indication, it doesn't.
Has more buttons and >LEDs at the price of a shitty sensor.
Zowie
My logitech g500 and mx510 are still working after some 6+ years while my mamba AND deathadder are unusable after just about 5 years of combined use.
The grip on the razer mice is better, however, so if you're okay with being forced to replace it after 3 years or less go for the deathadder.

I got the deathadder and it started double clicking after about 6 months. I did fix it by punching it but you should probably just shell out 60 instead

Stick with logitech. I had a death adder and it died in less than a year under normal usage conditions. In general razor stuff is crap made of cheap plastic marked up too high because it's for "gamers". Besides g400s the g9x is another good mouse, both have treated me well.
