Pokemon Blue when I was about 11/12. First game I really got into and set me up for a lifetime of vidya.

Dark Souls.
Showed me there was still some hope in the industry. Stopped me from jumping off a cliff.
Demon's Souls would've probably done the same thing but I never had a PS3.

I was a total casual and always played on the easiest difficulty, but then I saw a Contra: SS trailer on a demo disk and thought what an ugly shit game. Then I watched it a dozen times. Then I got the game when it came out. Then my life changed.

Now I can't play anything that doesn't promise to utterly destroy me. I've played them all, bullet hells, arcade classics, etc.

Souls games are what I play to RELAX.
