Contra: Shattered Soldier
I was a total casual and always played on the easiest difficulty, but then I saw a Contra: SS trailer on a demo disk and thought what an ugly shit game. Then I watched it a dozen times. Then I got the game when it came out. Then my life changed.
Now I can't play anything that doesn't promise to utterly destroy me. I've played them all, bullet hells, arcade classics, etc.
Souls games are what I play to RELAX.
