For whatever it's worth SS was a 7 too. Only 3D Zelda I've enjoyed as much as the 2D ones was Wind Waker, though the N64 ones were still alright.

The trailers made TP look like a return to form. But instead the story focused on some shitty helper character for pedo gooks, and an overworld ripped from the N64 games.
3D Zelda got stale as soon as the N64 was over because Nintendo are incapable of moving beyond past success and disregarding ideas they like.
I expect everyone to praise Zelda U, regardless of it's actual quality.
