Not really. Because she's a sniper and there was a hint about photosynthesis just like The End's and there was a photo of Chico and his grandfather who looked like The End and torture scene, like they torture survivors. "Just be quiet" is just neat addition to theory.

Backstory was more believable than ever and there were no endless expositions. Making the player a part of the legend is a really fun idea that ties up the story nicely.

Well, yeah, it's one of the greatest videogame series of all time. Even being unfinished piece of shit MGS5 is still good so there's absolutley no reason not to play first games, especially since they're best ones.
