I don't even remember how I managed to solve this shit as a kid
runescape used to be good

Fuck me man, first game I used the internet to look up a guide to get past that puzzle. Really hope it was just my 14 year old brain that sucked and i have matured since then.

Has anyone ever got stuck on that, It's literally just follow the instructions.
Bioshock 1 had some more interesting puzzles and early games before that had even more interesting puzzles but people aren't good with puzzles.

we didn't even have internet or a computer back in the PS1 days
>inb4 autism test

Dude silent hill 1 was 99. I had a DSL modem at that point and my family was bottom of middle class as you can get.

This.
Like, what the fuck? Bells? There are no bells on the fucking picture-card.
Fuck Bioware for thinking this is acceptable.
>>318035452
No longer funny when you realize you were given the note because a code of 5 inputs with 3 diferent choices is fucking hard to get, implying that you already knew it was a five notes password.
Its not even a puzzle, just a weak explanation of why there is not a shitton of people arriving to colombia.
Heck they probably change the code monthly, or even weekly.

WAIT A SECOND...
>>318035247
That entire game
>>318035247
Had to use a guide to get through that quest back when it was released. Runescape sucks in a lot of aspects, but at least it got quests right.

I remember playing that game, thats when i realized im stupid.
>>318035813
It's not a reason to just give the player a fucking answer and have him automatically pull it out once you encounter it.

Man, I can't even do a normal one because the whole array of possible moves doesn't fit in my head. I have no idea how people manage to complete them unless there's some sort of cheat.
>>318037135
algorithms
It's basically "do this sequence of moves untill your cube looks like this, then do this other sequence of moves" and so on. Hardest part is memorizing them all.
>>318036431
I no longer know if bait or not.
>>318035592
Bioshock? Puzzles? Are you like 5 years old?
>>318035797
I'm a slav. In american terms, that's lower class or even the bottom of the lower class.

>Hardest part is memorizing them all
It's the only part, that's why they're boring.
>>318035871
is that loss?

Loss?

It can be solved almost the same way as standard 3x3x3. If you know how to solve 5 or 7 then you know how to solve any bigger variant. 4x4x4 are a bit harder because you don't have central elements and can mess up orientation.
