Never played Vietnam, but you can redeem the steam key for BC2 on Origin and get the digital deluxe edition using it (Vietnam + hats), so don't buy Vietnam on steam. I may be wrong now, but it worked for me, I just never installed a second copy of BC2 to find out.

Original Metro 2033 is better than Redux. Redux looks better but a lot of the features I liked personally (having to check the watch manually, the weapon modification system, et al) were removed for casualization. If you don't care then go for it but I prefer the original.

If you didn't like DS2 then you won't like SOTFS. It's just the same game with some additions, some changes, some enemy placement relocations, some lighting and visual polish, probably some bug fixes in there too.
At its core it's most likely the same game (I've only played SOTFS), and if you didn't like DS2 then it almost definitely wasn't for any of the minor things they changed and added.
Stick with DS1 if you don't want to cash out for almost the same game, if you're lucky then you can fight some of the new blood on the sale and invade them into a refund.

If you're open minded and like story driven JRPGs then you should like it, but the strengths are in the writing/dialogue and the endearing characters. The combat system is great, it's a grid-based battle system rather than your standard turn-based battles in most JRPGs.

Fuck son don't scare me like that, I still have nightmares of trying to log into my Uplay account. I own blacklist but I haven't played it at all after the first couple of weeks just because of how much of a fucking nuisance Uplay is. Shame, Spies vs Mercs was pretty fun.
