Stella Glow is the one I enjoyed more in term of story and simply getting into a game but DT2's postgame is the most fun I had with a DRPG ever

For FE:if, gameplay-wise it's definitely better than Awakening though that's not a huge feat but FE itself was never a great series in my life, Nohr had a fucking horrible story though that mostly made no sense so I only did and dropped the game since everyone told me Nohr was the only part of the game with good gameplay

So how easy is the game compared to other srpg? I like the style a bit and lisette was a qt in the demo but if it's too easy I don't feel inclined to buy it. Do the character interactions make up for the diffifulty?

I didn't even need chase orbs, nor did I even need version 2/3 of the orbs. Level 1 "low chance" orbs procced 100% of the time, every hit.

It's pretty easy but I'm only on Chapter 3. Lord of Magna on hard was easier than this game is so far if that means anything. The only trouble in Lord of Magna was that some bosses had tons of HP but that's easily negated with poison.
This game isn't quite as easy but it's also not much of a challenge as of yet.

I wanted to ask how this was. The demo only really gives you an impression of the combat, but not the character building or equipment or map. Is it more like FFT with hiring dudes? Is it very linear? Alto, Hilda, Rusty, and Klaus all sound outstanding to me. Sakuya's annoying, but I admit she has a good performance. Lisette is convincing, Archibald is totally hammy but that's okay, and Nonoka is pretty meh. Dante's good and Hrodulf is good. I'm only on Chapter 4 currently.

It's a spiritual successor to Luminous Arc, so you'll have a world map where you can do free battles or progress the story whenever your like.
There's only one plot, so I guess linear. Each chapter is divided into Mission Time (battle) and Free Time (conversing with party members, doing part time jobs, etc.).
Each character has their own job, and can gain skills/abilities via bonding or leveling. Orbs, abilities you can equip on your weapons, is about as much customization as you can get beyond new equipment, armor, and accessories.

Trying to decide between picking this up or EO2U. Which one should I get?
Only played the demos for both (and EO demos), not a big fan of EO dungeon but I didn't mind it as much in EO2U and I liked some of the characters and the cooking mechanic. Stella Glow's battles didn't impress me, but it's a new game with no strings to preexisting franchises attached and the character seemed alright. Can you get Dante in the party andromance him?

Popo's been coming off as kind of weak for me. Low HP, weak bow damage, and nothing too notable about her magic. That said, Rusty Key has been fucking awesome when I've had her use it. Huge help.
Having just got Sakuya and seen her song in action, it feels more underwhelming by comparison. Still need to try her out in battle though.
And yeah, Hilda's voice is amazing. I recognized her as Blanc from Neptunia right away, but I like her better in here. That voice is almost tangibly delicious.

Song of wind has an enormous aoe and it doesn't hit allies so she can basically mangle or kill a large number of enemies. It combines really well with cherry blossom actually since spells can crit too.
