This is Grace. Coming out of the Vault with everything about her past life obliterated left her terrified about everything going on. She took up with the Brotherhood because they seemed to at least want some of the old world back. Going through their missions she realizes they aren't really what she wants them to be, but ultimately recognizes that they are correct for the most part. Afterkilling off the Instituteshe resigned from the Brotherhood and retired to Sanctuary, takingthe Synth Shaun as her sonand basically spiraled into depression for a while, med-x abuse a plenty but eventually was able to fight it a bit by finding a renewed purpose in helping the people of the Commonwealth with the Minutemen, accepting people of all creeds and species, be they human, mutant or synth in their own Sanctuary.Might sound cringe as fuck but whatever I had fun writing this and playing it out.

The canon charactes from 1 and 2 are only confirmed canon from later games, and it doesn't effect your game while playing. Just because later games confirmed that the Vault Dweller was a male doesn't change Fallout 1.

She started off keeping her hair looking nice, and dyed black, but over time the sun bleached it blonde. Not long after that she had the shaved sides and ponytail hairstyle, and eye war paint. This was her attempt to fit into the wasteland and create an imposing presence (CHA and LCK build).
Now she's tough as fuck and not worried about looking scary because she's covered in scars and quite muscular, so she's dropped the war paint and has her original hair style back. No, Nate is the soldier and Nora is the lawyer no matter which you play. During the opening sequence if you inspect the trifold flag as the woman she will say how she is proud of her man for serving. In the holo-tape codsworth gives you after you come out of the vault Nate will tell you how you can dust of the old law degree if you are playing as the woman. Last is the USS Constitution quest, where the robot giving you the quest will scan your face, find your drivers license and identify the woman as a lawyer.

Probably quite hard to do it where the scars somewhat match your injuries - in terms of type, location, and how they heal based on how you heal them.
If it was just some vague system where health below 10hp gives you a randomized scar it would be annoying.

Outfits is fine and all, but I am more interested in headwear that can be upgraded to 110 DR and ER. So far I tested probably 15 hats and only the newsboy cap and tribly hat can be upgraded, both of which has +1CHR. It would be too good if there was a +1PER or the luck hat orUshankawas upgradeable, but they aren't. I don't have every hat though so I can't confirm they are the only, but at least Trilby and Newsboy can be godly.

My character transition is pretty plain.
Originally had the default face with a stubble, grew a pony tail with a long beard during wasteland adventures and trimmed it short by the time he gets to the Institute. Also his hair slowly went from black to gray.
