I feel like after you get Sera back the game's plot takes a turn for the weird. Things seemed more clear and concrete up until then, then it got trippy as fuck. Also things likethe seeming relevant and Angel being both Sera's mother and father. Also, Angel seemingly having some sort of plan but when you get to the airport it gets revealed that she just wanted to fuck with you.I liked DDS1 and DDS2 but I felt like DDS2 is inferior plot wise

It gives the core SMT experience with a lot of content, customization and grinding. The plot is also considered acceptable if you are a fan of SMT and know what's the background behind every faction and such.
It lacks things like characterization, dialogs, 3D, waifu etc which they obviously worked towards in SMT4 but at its core it has all the reasons why you play SMT.
