I guess he wanted players to be more involved in the scheduling of the characters since nearly everything abides to it, monsters and NPCs all run through a schedule where they hang out by a lake, may or may not attack another monster near them while going through their usual path, sleep in cave or near other animals of the same type etc.
While NPCs have their usual duties like the ones in the original game but more emphasized. While I agree with you that it sounds annoying I'm happy that they at least put more effort into this.

Yeah, there are fashion slots, so you can wear whatever armor you want and carry over the stats of other armor.
In the Japanese version, you would have to get the dlc or beat the game to unlock this option, but the localized version has the dlc preloaded, so you can do it from the beginning.

What a fucking disappointment. I was so hyped for Shulk too and told myself I'd never stop playing this game and make him my main.
But of course as soon as you get anywhere near decent skill, you discover that the gameplay consists of shielding and dodging and boring defensice maneuvers. Approaching your opponent is just asking to get shield grabbed.
At least with Brawl I was younger and also had to come to the slow realization that Smash could actually be boring to play. I went into it with high expectations and had to have them beat down over time.
Smash 4 I went in expecting the worst and got the worst.

I was so hyped for shulk man you don't fucking understand. Then the game released. I bought it for 3ds AND wiiU so you can imagine how I feel now.
I thought smash 4 was going to change everything and be much better than brawl. When I finally did learn how to play the game I had the most success with a character I hate (Pit) and even though I won most of my FG matches when I used to lose all the time I didn't have fun. When I switched from shulk and played pit and played defensively out of shield I literally jumped from a 35% W/L to a mid 70% with my last 100 being a a decent high 80. Literally winning matches doing nothing but shield to d-throw to upair or nair and gimping.

Heard from the GameXplain Q&A you can play this game in little chunks each day ala Animal Crossing if you don't want to invest huge amount of time in at once. That's what really sold this game for me. Can't play much more than an hour a day of videogames, so this is perfect.

So those data packs, eh? Need a hard drive. No problem, I thought, I have one and it's been hooked to the system for two years! Almost no problems.
But it's a portable one with a Y cable, not a powered one. So every time I attempt to download these packs I get an error. Ah well, I have a powered one I use for other things, but I can use it for this instead. Just gotta format it, transfer all the stuff off the portable one to it, and we're golden.

The portable one decides it doesn't want to play ball. The darn thing 'disconnects' so often during file transfers I spend more time hard-resetting the system than actually transferring files. I spent hours moving one file at a time, and usually on the third transfer the portable would crash for no reason.
Thanfully it's all done and I downloaded the data packs no problem afterwards, but yeesh. I'd ask if it would kill Nintendo to supply their USBs with a bit more power but we all know what the answer to that is.

Seem the two major complaints from people that have the game is.
1. Changing party members. Since you have to actively talk to them and put them in your party. Seem what they could have done is just have you go to New LA and just use a terminal to switch them if they wanted some restrictions with changing party members.
2. Gathering missions. But those were a pain in XC. Just a lot of running around picking up blue items and hoping the RNG god is with you.

As far as I've seen, the boobs of your character changes depending on the outfit. My guess is that if an outfit looks good with small breast, they probably set it to small.
