I have some friends that I act kind of silly and more open with.
And some people I'm more serious with and not that talkative.
When I'm hanging with my best friend it's a middle ground between those two.
And whoever I'm hanging with I'm still comfortable and natural. And it's still "me", but just in a different way. Around some people you just don't act the same way as others.
That's why I think you need to find someone you can act in way you feel comfortable and natural with, which can be hard depending on what kind of person you are.

There is truly nothing worse than feeling alone while surrounded by tons of people.
Last month I decided to simply cut off contact with everyone I know IRL. It felt really nice but someone called me wondering where I was so I ended up falling back to them but after hanging out with them yesterday I started to feel like that again so I'm considering just disappearing again and this time do it completely no matter what happens.
What I find funny is that I have 4 very very close Internet friends in different corners of the world, all of which have offered help towards leaving the shithole my country is, and is currently what I'm working towards to, and yet IRL I've never been able to make a single sifnificant, true or meaningful bond with anyone.
I'll never understand what I am doing wrong or if I'm missing something. However, I have hopes things will change for the better in the future.

Pretty much this, as much as i like playing MMO's and multiplayer games I feel awkward everytime i have to play with people.
Most of the time i play a new MMO because a friend is interested on it, they make me join a guild and we play for a few days before him gettnig bored when i actually like the game or him going to play with his other friends so I end up alone again.
I dunno, I just want to truly be part of the circle i guess, every time someone actually talks to me for whatever reason things repeat, they invite me to something, I hang around there and later I'm just sitting in the corner again.
