Interesting. I've dumped about 24 hours into the game already and I haven't even played half the roster yet.
Then again, in TF2, I would play a class for hours before getting bored and switching.
There's just something I love about this bastard that I never liked about Demoman in TF2. Damage-less explosive jumping that can get me out of literally any situation where there isn't an aimbot turret or aimbot Widowmaker.
What I don't like is that the explosive jump trajectory is extremely scattered and random. Generally if you are in front you go forward and behind, back, but if you stand on top of it, you'll fly randomly out in some direction with slight upward, irrelevant if you are on the pixel-grade "side" of it or not.
Plus, sexy grenades and beartraps.

That thing really should explode if you die before it does.

The problem with Bastion is he's INSANELY easy to play as if you know the maps and fucking infuriating to play against because they are usually in such a place that you can ONLY hit his shield and can't get to him without getting gunned down, so you need to get your whole team to focus him for long enough to pop his shield and him. Which of course leaves your team vulnerable to the other 5 enemies and you wipe.

I got play of the game as a Lucio and not I never even used my Ult, its the first time I've seen a healer get Play. Nice little pat on the head for killing three guys pushing the payload by myself, by punching them in the face.

The opposite is true. A lot of the characters are really shallow so in a full round (assuming even teams so you don't get steamrolled) you can see everything there is to see of 2 characters, easily. That means that 10 rounds in you're pretty much done with the game.
My main problem is with the design. The game has shit design (visually and mechanic wise) from top to bottom. The game feels like an all-star battle where each character could be from their own franchise/universe, that's how mismatched it all felt. The gameplay definitely won't keep you around so it's up to the world and the characters to keep you entertained that those are shit too so the game has nothing.
Expect it to be big among casuals though, you'll definitely hear people talk about this game right next to their epic game of LoL they had last night.

No, I just play good shooters. Shooters with abalanced consistent movement across characters instead of doing weird shit like putting "switch between heal and speed" "drop your mine" shift's. Even game reviewers have noted that.
The games moveset is inconsistent between characters, there is no vertical gameplay unless you can fly, the game is slow. Team play just means hope you'ove got a big shield in front of you and a mercy because the rest is just dick waggling into a hallway.

Attacking side can take their upper spawn and you can set up Bastion up there so that defense can't hit anything but his shield

D.Va. It's fun to be in a mech and then just rush and self-destruct and then repeat.
Unfortunately even with slight ping spikes even the slightest playing the game becomes next to impossible compared to almost every game out because everything becomes a jumpy mess at times.
Seems that way honestly even without the ping spikes at times too. That and it doesn't appear like it'll be a major game to consistently play, neat in it's own right, but will ultimately get bored quick, like most of Blizz's games anymore.

There is no rankings, there is no unlocks, there is nothing. You simply are playing to play.
Which in theory is how a game should be, but thats not how it is nowadays if you want to be succesful. You need to have something to play for in a game like this.

He's got a slow teleport that is used for positioning, if you see him use it you can easily get out of the way or just kill him since it's so slow. the other ability is his ghost walk ability that is too slow for Genji. All of my ranking are compared against other characters in their roles, Junkrat only shines in hard choke maps like the end of egypt. Otherwise he get's outshined by other heroes.

I want to like McCree because his revolver is great for both long and short range. You can headshot the shit out of non-tanks and stop them quick from range and at short range just fanning them with body shots does good but his other abilities are pretty crap.

McCrees entire role is to destroy people at close range, deal decent damage at mid and occasionally pick people off at long range.

Does anyone else feel that Tracer really isn't all that colloquial to the Scout? I mean she lacks his basic movement speed advantage and, more importantly, his burst damage. It takes a full clip to kill a good amount of the heroes and that's with perfect aim. Even more, she still isn't as mobile as the scout even with her blinks since they are on a charge system. Scout can triple jump whenever and has insane vertical mobility. I just don't feel the analogy people are talking about.
