Some things of interest to me. The Awful Games block this year doesn't look remotely fun to watch with that game selection. Who the fuck speedruns Lagoon? That game was slow and sterile even by SNES standards at the time.
Only good commentary can save those runs, but charismatic folks who can talk & play while cracking a few jokes at the game's expense are rare.

Bonus Incentive: Crypt of the Necrodancer (Coda All Zones - SpootyBiscuit)
I have no idea why it's at 10am as a bonus incentive. Necrodancer is a solid game and ridiculously fun to play and to speedrun.
It has a really good in game leaderboard and multiple different categories / ways to complete the game oriented towards speedrunning.

It's an easy to speedrun game with zero variability that has hundreds of runners and dozens of games that they can use to fill time.
Nothing wrong with the game itself. But speedrunning it is braindead easy if you're not looking for a WR. Just spend a few hours on the wiki and a few days slamming your head into enemies and anyone with semi-competent sidescroller skills can do it.

In this case, the game is just absurdly easy and you can win easily even with poor luck.
In many other FE speedruns, players map out the ideal set of actions to manipulate the RNG into giving them the optimal results (since the RNG is affected by how you move your cursor and stuff this is easily doable) and the speedruns are just repeating those button presses.
