Haven't been following this much, what's the consensus? Thinking about ordering today.
Star Wars battlefront was one of my favorite ps2 games.

10/10 Sound and graphics
Gameplay was fun during beta, but generally people are saying Walker Assault is the best mode and overshadows all the others.
Also it's very different from previously Battlefront games, so don't go in expecting Battlefront 3 or anything.

The game is boring not even close to a battlefront experience, they should call it star wars battlefield. Not worth the price tag.........refunding at 23hours 59 minutes!

Can't say for sure because I never played BF4, but yeah I've heard them heavily compared. It is a bit slower than your average Battlefield game though, but not by much. I'd honestly say hold off until reviews start rolling in and then make a decision, or if you got an Xbone, pay for that stupid EA access shit and try it out.

So, there have been whistleblowers on reddit saying that EA gave mods acess to alpha if they removed bad comments about the game.
What are the chances that the same happened here?
Trying to decide right now if I should buy into this game or just go back to Gears of War.
Been playing it since unlocking with VPN, they moved all the interesting shit to online multiplayer only. No co-op vs bots beyond five minute tutorial scenarios or lame "fight off 15 waves" style missions.

I'm going to grab it. A big amount of modes doesn't matter to me because I tend to just pick one and spam that one for my entire time playing whatever the game is. I'll be waiting until tomorrow to buy it though. Gotta check for downtime and unplayability for whatever reason, that kind of thing.
