Fallout 4 wasn't a disappointment, it's really fun.
I mean, MGSV is really fucking fun too but most people are buttmad about the story.
MGSV, hyped to hell and back and /v/ believed it. Fallout 4 was hyped by Bethesda and reddit, but /v/ disregarded almost all of it.
I'd have to go with MGSV.tbqh I love both games, I'm having tons of fun with FO4 despite initially hating it for perceived lack of depth

Fallout 4 is expected to be a buggy pile of shit stacked on top of a wonky engine.
MGSV was built pretty solid as gameplay goes but still managed to be boring as fuck. With the worst bosses, most generic villain, an unfinished story and the most filler-padded campaign since Dragon Age Inquisition, it's sad how disappointing it turned out.
MGS5. You expected quality gaming, being able to climb that mountain.
Instead you got an even worse version of peace walker.
FO4 was expected to be meh from the get go.

Fallout 4 is infinitely better than new vegas, and light years away from a disappointment. The people here that are constantly crying MUH GRAPHICS MUH BUGS MUH GAMEPLAY are people who didn't even put more than a few hours into the game, are baiting for attention, or have shit taste in video games and spend most of their time playing anime waifu games meant for (man)children.
