You know how Sindel killed most of the good guys in the MK9 reboot story? Originally, Sheeva prevented this by betraying Shao Kahn, killing Motaro, and allowing Kitana and Jade to save Sindel (because it was Sheeva's job to protect possessed Sindel). For her betrayal, Shao Kahn killed her, but ultimately, her betrayal led to his defeat.
But now in the reboot? She's officially queen of the Shokan. While Goro was off getting all four of his arms ripped off like a kek, Sheeva took the throne and managed to partake in an event in which various warriors were driven into a blood rage. Sheeva managed to fend off a blood raged Johnny Cage and Sonya at the same time, until the spell wore off. Kintaro, sadly, was killed attempted to fend off Cassie and Jacqui.

If there was anything wrong with the MK comic, it went out of their way to kill unpopular characters (Hsu Hao, Mavado, Drahmin, Moloch, etc).
Drahmin might as well have been killed by Ed Boon instead of Quan Chi.

Drahmin and Moloch are demons, I imagine it's like South Park. Sure you killed them but where are they going to go? It's hell.
I can only hope the comic gets a second run next year and kill off the shitty Deception characters like Darrius, Kobra and Dairou.

The thought of actually playing a shokan was pretty hype before MK3's release. Even if she was just a scaled down Goro she was still kinda fun, but as time went on she got forgotten and now is nothing special. A shameful fate for such a proud race.
