Yep.
There was a small group of about 5-6 people (including myself) who played the shit out of it and could easily be considered the best (or at least the most consistently well performing) players.
There were also japs; their average skill level was higher but none were able to consistently best players in this group.
I've migrated to EXVSFB (which I'm shit at but still play regularly because I simply adore VS games), but I don't think the rest of them will.
