The core shooting mechanics are solid as fuck, the game is just barebones as fuck, vehicles feel tacked on. Clone Wars and force Awakens content almost certainly locked behind season pass paywall that costs as much as the base game

Honestly depends. If you like star wars you can find some fun in it and relieve or have some great moments. It's just after a few hours you're kinda tired of it. I think 2015 have set in stone that different people just like different games. It's like movies and books... There's no one universal game that everyone likes.
I think MGSV is fantastic, but that it's a bummer that it could had been so much more.
Splatoon was pleasantly surprising as well.
From your list of Twombraider, Witcher 3 and Fallout 4, I can tell you right now that you won't enjoy Battlefront.
I played 10 hours of it on the EA Access thing and it's a super stylish, sleek and fun, but ultimately shallow, lacking in content and I mostly only really like because it's Star Wars.
