All the Nintendo characters that matter are already in anyway really. It'd be cool to get one of the unrepresented IPs but realistically I see them adding periphery Mario, Zelda or Pokémon characters if not third parties.

Nintendo's always fucked over third party developers. They don't realize that it isn't the 1980s anymore. It's why Sega was able to go toe-to-toe with them in the 16 bit years and Sony in the 32 bit before being left in the dust and now their consoles are either children's toys or grandma's exercise equipment.
